Full Stack Software Developer

Salary: £50,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Full Stack Software Developer with experience working in an agile team.
• We require strong knowledge of front-end languages including HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• We require good knowledge of back-end languages, preferably Java or C#.
• We require experience with a JavaScript framework such as React or Angular.
• We require an understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• We require experience with SQL-based databases such as Postgres and/or SQL Server.
• We require experience using a design prototyping tool such as Figma.
• We require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
• We require a collaborative team player who can work effectively across functional teams and with external stakeholders.
• We require an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality products and services.
• We require the right to work and live in the UK long-term, as we are unable to sponsor overseas candidates.

Responsibilities

• We design and develop responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• We develop and document APIs in a microservices architecture.
• We create Postman and unit tests that can be automated.
• We participate in planning and estimation during sprint planning sessions.
• We integrate with third-party APIs and web services.
• We identify opportunities to adopt modern practices, methodologies or frameworks.
• We investigate and resolve support calls from customers and our internal support team.
• We build and maintain web-based applications that support healthcare organisations.
• We work within a microservices architecture, typically using Java microservices and a React front end.
• We contribute to the delivery of secure, well-coded and scalable applications.
