Senior Platform Engineer

Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements

• High level of Oracle knowledge, ideally with Oracle Fusion exposure
• Finance domain experience and familiarity with platforms (e.g., Financials, HCM, SCM)
• Experience with Oracle Visual Builder/Oracle Apex
• Strong leadership skills and previous team management responsibilities
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Deep knowledge and awareness of Cloud (Azure/AWS) infrastructure, data, and security (bonus)
• Strong vendor management skills (bonus)

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of Finance platforms
• Own the enablement of Finance platforms and modules using Oracle Visual Builder/Oracle Apex
• Own, design, build, and manage the integrations between Finance platforms and external systems
• Design and build connections between Finance platforms and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs and data migration tools
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve performance, and champion automation using CI/CD pipelines

We are supporting a major UK organisation undergoing significant transformation, including a large-scale migration from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion ERP. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who can bring strong leadership, deep Oracle and finance expertise, and stability across a complex, fast-moving environment.
