Full Stack Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

• Active DV clearance
• Proficiency in modern front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong server-side development skills using Node.js, Python, or Java
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements within a dynamic public sector environment
• Familiarity with government processes, policies, and systems (desirable)
• Understanding of UX and accessibility principles (desirable)
• Experience developing and maintaining well-documented RESTful APIs (desirable)
• Knowledge of secure development practices and handling sensitive government data (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications for public sector projects
• Contributing across the full software development lifecycle in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Creating responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern front-end technologies and frameworks
• Developing secure and efficient server-side logic
• Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with government regulations
• Conducting regular security assessments and collaborating to identify and address vulnerabilities
• Developing and maintaining well-documented RESTful APIs
• Working closely with project managers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives
