1st Line Support Engineer

Salary: £20,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements

• Ideally previous IT technical support experience gained in a busy IT environment
• Knowledge of Windows PCs and server operations is advantageous
• Understanding of Office 365 is advantageous
• Linux knowledge would be a bonus
• Ideally experienced across all areas of office networks
• Experience working for a managed service provider is advantageous
• Hard-working and keen to develop within a scale-up business
• Strong relationship-building skills and good communication skills
• A natural problem solver

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line technical support as a Software Support Consultant / IT Support Specialist
• Handle internal and external remote dial-ups
• Get involved in projects as required
• Support office-based operations in a busy IT services environment

This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday during normal office hours, with on-call one week in four. On-call is paid at £1,500 in addition to the basic salary.
