Requirements

• We require several years of experience in a dedicated Cyber Security Engineering or SOC Tier 3 role.
• We need a technical expert in CrowdStrike for endpoint protection, with deep hands-on experience in Falcon Prevent, Falcon Insight, and Falcon Discover.
• We need a strong Splunk power user with proficiency in writing complex Search Processing Language (SPL) and managing Splunk Enterprise Security (ES).
• We require experience in Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, and Policy/Standards Creation.
• We need a strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security across AWS and Azure, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• CCFA or CCFR certifications would be a major advantage.

Responsibilities

• We will expect the successful candidate to turn raw security telemetry into actionable intelligence.
• We will expect the successful candidate to support endpoint protection and security operations using CrowdStrike and Splunk.
• We will expect the successful candidate to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
• We will expect the successful candidate to contribute to policy and standards creation.
• We will expect the successful candidate to work 2 days per week in our London office and 3 days remotely.
• We will require the successful candidate to work inside IR35 through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

We are recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days in our London office and 3 days remote. The position falls inside IR35, so the successful candidate will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract. We are seeking a highly technical cyber security professional who can combine endpoint protection expertise, security telemetry analysis, and practical engineering capability to help us strengthen our security posture.
