Salary: £31,200 - 46,800 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience in SharePoint-based document control and management systems
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in document management software and dashboard tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Manage our Business Management System content, including document workflows using Power Automate, and ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements
• Administer our MyBMS (SharePoint) approval process to ensure efficient document management
• Support the development of our business management system and standardisation initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate our project control systems to support continuous improvement
• Collaborate on the enhancement of our Power BI dashboards for better document tracking
• Train and support team members on MyBMS and document control processes
• Facilitate communication among project teams regarding document management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all document management inquiries
• Analyse industry benchmarking data to drive internal improvements
• Provide regular updates on document status and ensure quality standards are met

We are working with a major player in the renewables sector on a contract opportunity for a reliable and proactive Document Controller. The role is inside IR35, approved until 31 Dec 2026 with the potential to be renewed. The position is based at our client offices in Houghton le Spring for 2–3 days per week, with the remaining time working remotely.
