Salary: £59,000 - 99,000 per year

Requirements

• Senior backend engineer experience
• Extensive Python backend development experience
• Experience with large-scale database schema design and operations
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and building large-scale service architectures
• Experience integrating or scaling authentication and authorization systems
• Business-level English fluency for daily collaboration with a global team

Responsibilities

• Design and build core domain APIs for User, Startup, and Expert Pool
• Automate the Application → Diagnosis → KO → Coaching workflows using a workflow engine
• Design the unified database schema with audit logging and permission middleware
• Architect and execute data migration from legacy databases, CSV files, and SharePoint sources
• Enhance the existing authentication system as the platform scales
• Lead backend code reviews and establish architecture and engineering standards
