Requirements

• We are looking for 2 experienced contractors to support a large-scale vulnerability management programme.
• We need previous experience in vulnerability management within enterprise environments.
• We need strong technical knowledge of Qualys, Microsoft Defender, and ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Module.
• We need experience working across endpoints, servers, Azure, AWS, and application environments.
• We need the ability to assess technical risk and support remediation planning across multiple technology teams.
• We need strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills within security-focused environments.
• We need the ability to work Monday to Friday during standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• We conduct scanning and analysis across infrastructure, cloud environments, and applications using Qualys and related tools.
• We assess, validate, and prioritise vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, and business impact.
• We work closely with Infrastructure, Engineering, Cloud, and DevOps teams to support remediation activity.
• We track remediation progress, validate fixes, and maintain accurate records.
• We produce technical reports, metrics, and executive summaries on remediation status and trends.
• We integrate threat intelligence insights into vulnerability prioritisation and continuous improvement activities.
• We support a large-scale security programme following a major assessment phase.
• We help reduce exposure and improve security posture across complex infrastructure and cloud platforms.

We are supporting a major financial services environment on a long-term vulnerability management programme, where this Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst role sits at the centre of our response to emerging risk. This is a high-impact contract opportunity offering £600 per day outside IR35, flexible London/remote working, and exposure to enterprise-wide cyber security initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, and application security operations. We use leading management technologies including Qualys, Microsoft Defender, and ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Module, and we are looking for experienced contractors who can help strengthen our security controls and improve our overall security posture.
