BI Developer

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• I require proficiency with enterprise reporting and dashboarding.
• A background in data warehouse design, including dimensional modeling and data mining, is essential.
• Experience with RDBMS, such as SQL and MySQL, is necessary.
• Automation experience with builds, deployments, testing, and configuration is needed.
• Strong business analysis skills are crucial for creating report definitions and specifications. I expect you to perform the entire development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, build, testing, deployment, and support for analytic applications, tools, and components using Microsoft BI Reporting and Analysis Tools, as well as other BI, data discovery, analytic, and statistical packages.

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Your role will involve designing and developing interactive BI dashboards and reports to visualize data in Power BI.
• I expect you to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in BI projects.
• You will conduct user training and provide ongoing support for BI users.
• Troubleshooting and resolving data visualization issues for users will also be part of your responsibilities.

We are looking for a BI Developer (AWS & Power BI) for an OUTSIDE IR35 contract. This is a remote role with the occasional trip to our office in Staffordshire. In this position, you will work closely with stakeholders to transform complex data into compelling visual dashboards and reports, enabling decision-makers to act with confidence. You will have the opportunity to collaborate in a fast-paced Agile team, gathering requirements, designing, developing, and deploying BI solutions to unlock the full potential of data.
