Requirements
- SC cleared or SC eligible or BPSS
- Proven government or public sector experience or nuclear project exposure
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Enterprise Scale Landing Zone patterns
- Strong experience across governance, identity, networking, security, monitoring, and resiliency
- Ability to lead structured discovery and design workshops
- Confident engaging with security, networking, operations, and finance stakeholders
- Strong trade-off analysis and risk assessment capability
- Skilled at converting regulatory, security, operational, and financial requirements into Azure platform controls, policies, and standards
- Produces clear high-level designs, architecture diagrams, decision logs, and standards
- Practical understanding of how landing zones are implemented and operated
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps pipelines, policy lifecycle management, and operational validation
- Ensures designs are implementable, not theoretical
Responsibilities
- Support the Azure Landing Zone remediation initiative by aligning the existing Azure estate with CAF standards
- Define, support, and govern platform design decisions across identity, security, networking, operations, and governance domains
- Conduct structured discovery and design workshops
- Engage with various stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and decision-making
- Perform trade-off analysis and risk assessments for architectural decisions
- Translate regulatory, security, operational, and financial requirements into actionable Azure platform controls, policies, and standards
- Create clear design documentation including HLDs, architecture diagrams, and decision logs
- Understand and implement best practices for operational validation and resource management in Azure
- Collaborate during all delivery phases: Plan, Build, and Adopt & Remediate Support
