Senior Business Analyst in Re-Insurance Integration

Salary: £136,500 - 149,500 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for experienced Business Analysts with a strong track record in insurance or reinsurance programmes.
• We need experience with SAP FS-RI or similar reinsurance systems.
• We value deep expertise in requirements gathering and analysis, functional design, and end-to-end process design across underwriting, accounting, and reporting.
• We require proven delivery experience in data and integration projects, including interfaces, mappings, and data reconciliation.
• We are looking for strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, and finance teams.
• We value experience facilitating workshops and driving outcomes.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe is preferred.
• Structured documentation and a strong delivery focus are important.
• German language skills are highly advantageous.
• Practical hands-on experience in underwriting, ceded reinsurance or retrocession, or technical accounting is desirable.
• Senior candidates should demonstrate ownership of workstreams, decision-making involvement, and leadership or coordination responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• We support the design and implementation of critical processes across reinsurance systems.
• We focus on functional analysis, system integration, and end-to-end process optimisation across underwriting, accounting, and reporting.
• We design and enhance internal reinsurer rating frameworks.
• We develop, maintain, and quality assure reinsurance contract documentation for treaty and facultative business.
• We define and map contract parameters, clauses, and structures.
• We support system implementation on platforms such as SAP FS-RI or similar.
• We analyse and deliver integration solutions between policy administration systems, premium systems, claims systems, and reinsurance platforms.
• We define and document data models, interfaces and mappings, and reconciliation processes.
• We ensure data quality, consistency, and auditability across systems.
• We gather requirements, produce functional designs, and drive E2E process design.
• We facilitate workshops and work closely with business, IT, and finance stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

We are hiring for a major reinsurance integration programme in London on a hybrid basis or fully remote. This is a 3 month initial contract, inside IR35, with junior BA rates at £525 per day and senior BA rates at £575 per day. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate practical, hands-on experience, clear project contributions, and strong seniority in reinsurance platforms, interfaces, data mapping, and integrations.
