Technical Business Analyst

Salary: £67,000 - 107,000 per year

Requirements

• We require 3+ years of experience in technical business analysis, preferably in financial services.
• We require advanced SQL skills; Python, C# and .NET are also relevant.
• We require database design and architectural expertise.
• We require the ability to quickly grasp new business data domains.
• We require excellent communication skills for global stakeholder engagement.
• We require experience working in Agile development methodologies.
• We prefer experience with financial reporting or revenue management systems.
• We prefer testing experience across complex rules engines and financial data.
• We prefer experience with AI/ML implementation and/or BI/reporting solutions.
• We prefer experience with Azure or other relevant cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• We receive and execute work packages for client implementation under the supervision of a Project Manager.
• We understand client data sources at both business and technical levels and build data connectors to ingest data into our solution.
• We assist the Project Manager in defining product and data scope requirements for new client engagements and suitable acceptance criteria.
• We contribute innovative ideas to advance our Professional Services offering.
• We create high-quality technical documentation for client-specific implementation work.
• We define and execute suitable test criteria to ensure successful completion of project tasks.
• We conduct sophisticated data analysis to identify potential implementation issues and improve implementation processes.
• We demonstrate advanced SQL and Python skills.
• We work with Engineering and QA on bug reporting, resolution, and client-side testing of issues.
