Senior UX Researcher - Remote Insights

About the Role Our client is seeking a highly analytical and empathetic Senior UX Researcher to join their growing product team, supporting initiatives in Edmonton, Alberta through a fully remote work structure.

This role is critical for understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations to inform product strategy and design decisions.

You will plan, conduct, and analyze user research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, delivering actionable insights that drive the creation of exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities Plan and execute a range of user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries. Analyze research data to identify key user insights, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement.

Translate research findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for product managers, designers, and engineers. Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user needs and behaviors effectively.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research questions and methodologies. Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring a user-centered approach.

Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research or a related field (e.g., HCI, market research). Proven track record of planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research across various methodologies.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and product development processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Proficiency with research tools and platforms for remote usability testing and data analysis.
