AI Forward Deployed Engineer - Machine Learning

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• We need at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, data science, or AI solution delivery in enterprise environments.
• We need proven experience building and deploying end-to-end machine learning pipelines in production.
• We need strong knowledge of machine learning techniques including regression, classification, clustering, and anomaly detection.
• We need strong deep learning experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• We need hands-on experience with generative AI, including LLMs, RAG systems, and agent-based applications.
• We need strong Python skills; JavaScript is a plus.
• We need experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We need experience in customer-facing consulting, solutions engineering, or enterprise delivery roles, ideally within major IT services or consulting firms.
• We need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• We need demonstrated experience working with senior leadership and translating complex business problems into scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• We work directly with strategic enterprise clients in a highly consultative and deeply technical capacity.
• We design and implement end-to-end AI systems within customer environments.
• We deliver production-grade machine learning solutions and rapid proof-of-concepts.
• We build and deploy machine learning systems covering data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• We develop generative AI applications using transformer-based models, LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems.
• We translate complex business problems into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
• We collaborate closely with senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Digital Transformation.
• We support high-impact AI transformation initiatives for leading organisations.
• We travel internationally as required while working remotely from the EMEA region.
