Job Description
Arobas Personnel is currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright) for a long-term contract with an innovative technology-driven organization. *Remote or Hybrid Opportunity* This opportunity is ideal for a quality-focused professional who is passionate about test automation, software reliability, and continuous improvement.
You will play a key role in establishing and enhancing automated testing practices while collaborating closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.Build and enhance scalable, maintainable, and reliable test automation frameworks.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery practices.Execute and optimize functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve test coverage and application quality.Identify, document, and monitor defects through resolution.Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights through quality metrics and reporting.Mentor team members and promote QA automation best practices across projects.Required Qualifications 5 to 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable automation framework.Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for automated testing.Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD environments.Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, including:Functional TestingRegression TestingAPI TestingEnd-to-End (E2E) TestingExperience with defect tracking and test management tools, such as Jira.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Assets Experience testing real-time or mission-critical applications.Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and load testing tools.Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.Experience working with containerized testing environments.Knowledge of AI-assisted development and testing tools, including GitHub Copilot and similar cloud-based AI solutions.Why Join This Opportunity?
