Service Design Architect - Manchester

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the UK IT Managed Services market, including Modern Workplace, End User Service Desk, Managed Networks, Unified Communications, Infrastructure/Cloud, and Managed Security.
• Proven track record of developing complex managed service solutions and winning contracts valued from £100k to over £10m.
• ITIL certification and a solid understanding of service delivery frameworks and best practices.
• Strong commercial and bid skills, including governance and costing models.
• Exceptional documentation and presentation skills, with confidence communicating at CxO level.
• Ability to lead virtual teams and foster collaboration across technical and sales functions.
• Knowledge of TUPE and managed services contracts is a plus.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Join our pre-sales function to help shape service solutions that meet customer needs and drive value.
• Collaborate with clients to design tailored solutions aligned to their requirements.
• Attend customer meetings, present proposals, and build relationships with C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
• Act as the solution authority for completeness, feasibility, and governance across opportunities.
• Prepare proposals and support bid review processes with clarity and transparency.
• Identify and manage risks and assumptions throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, presales, operations, and project management teams.
• Stay ahead of market trends and industry best practices to keep our solutions competitive and innovative.
• Align service designs with business goals to deliver strong quality and customer satisfaction.
