Service Designer

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Designer on Central Government projects
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and agile methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver user-centred services that address fraud prevention and detection
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including product managers, developers, and policy experts
• Conduct research and analysis to understand user needs and pain points
• Create service blueprints, journey maps, and prototypes to communicate design solutions
• Ensure services are accessible, inclusive, and meet government service standards
