We're looking for a *hands-on Quality Assurance Automation Engineer* who is passionate about coding, automation, and delivering high-quality enterprise software.

This is an engineering-focused role with a strong emphasis on *backend, API, and automation testing*—not a traditional manual QA position. 📍 *Location:* Remote Required Skills ✅ 5+ years of SDET or Automation Engineering experience ✅ *Playwright* (Top Priority) ✅ Reqnroll or SpecFlow (BDD) ✅ RestSharp & API Automation Testing ✅ Backend Services, APIs, Integrations & Event-Driven Testing ✅ Strong .NET / C# coding experience ✅ SQL for backend data validation ✅ Postman for API testing ✅ Zephyr or similar test management tools ✅ Agile/Scrum experience ✅ Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills ✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications ⭐ CI/CD pipeline integration ⭐ Jira ⭐ AWS or cloud platforms ⭐ GenAI experience in software development or testing ⭐ SaaS, Insurance, Healthcare, Underwriting, or other regulated industry experience What You'll Do * Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using *Playwright, Reqnroll/SpecFlow, and RestSharp*. * Develop and execute automated tests for APIs, backend services, integrations, and business workflows. * Collaborate with developers to improve software quality throughout the SDLC. * Identify automation opportunities and expand automation coverage across enterprise applications. * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. * Perform manual and exploratory testing when appropriate. * Execute SQL validation and API testing using Postman. * Debug complex application issues and improve test reliability. * Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration. ### Ideal Candidate ✔️ Passionate about coding and automation with *50%+ hands-on development*. ✔️ Strong backend/API testing mindset with enterprise application experience. ✔️ Proven experience automating complex business applications—not just UI or storefront testing. ✔️ Comfortable discussing practical use of AI/GenAI in software development or testing.
