Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for problem-solving
• Eligible for SC and/or DV clearance
• Ability to meet UK Government residency and right-to-work requirements associated with the required clearance level

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reliable, scalable physical and virtual infrastructure
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues
• Automate processes using tools such as Ansible to improve efficiency and consistency
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across the business
• Support continuous improvement of systems, tools, and practices
• Operate across the full infrastructure stack, from bare metal systems through to virtualised deployments and the applications running within them
• Help ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and reliable
• Influence technical direction and improve system performance
