Job Description
Salary: £95,000 - 95,000 per year
Requirements
- We require a 1st or 2.1 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similarly relevant discipline.
- We require substantial commercial software engineering experience.
- We require strong AWS skills and experience developing and deploying microservices on AWS.
- We require knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps, version control, CI/CD, and software testing.
- We require demonstrably good coding skills, ideally in Java and/or Python.
- We require knowledge of RESTful APIs, service integration patterns, and security frameworks such as OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- We require experience with NoSQL databases.
- We require excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
- We require a holistic, proactive approach to understanding product requirements, stakeholders, and broader mission.
- We require full, existing, and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- We require that you are based in the UK within convenient travel distance of London for occasional office attendance.
Responsibilities
- We build secure and scalable cloud infrastructure to support healthcare research and development.
- We create secure multi-tenant and multi-region storage solutions for swift and secure access to data.
- We ensure data security and integrity and maintain compliance with healthcare industry software standards.
- We contribute to product architecture.
- We design and implement services and data pipelines.
- We develop automated testing and CI/CD infrastructure.
- We work closely with colleagues and clients to understand product requirements, stakeholders, and the wider mission.
- We report directly to the Technical Product Lead.
