Network and Cyber Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements

• Significant experience working within an IT helpdesk or service desk environment
• Demonstrable experience supporting and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Cisco Meraki
• Able to work independently in a demanding environment
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Ability to document procedures clearly and systematically

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in developing and maintaining our Cisco-based network estate, ensuring our sites stay connected, resilient, and secure.
• Work closely with the Head of IT to strengthen our cyber maturity and operational security.
• Manage and secure our Microsoft 365 environment.
• Implement Network Segmentation and Least Privilege Configuration.
• Assist with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning with the Head of IT.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for infrastructure and security-related issues, working closely with colleagues to keep services running smoothly.
• Provide support for remote sites and international partners as needed.
