IT Support Technician (1st/2nd Line)

Salary: £27,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience creating/managing Users/Groups in Active Directory.
• Experience creating/managing Users/Groups in Azure AD/Microsoft Entra.
• Proficiency with Windows Desktop (7-11) and Server (2012R2 - 2022) Operating Systems.
• Familiarity with Exchange Online/Microsoft Exchange/Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Knowledge of Backup and DR Solutions such as Acronis, Veeam, Windows Servers.
• Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience working within a Support Team using a Ticket System and Remote Support tools.
• Advantageous: Experience with Linux and macOS, and IP Telephone Systems.
• Advantageous: Knowledge of basic broadband and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution of inquiries.
• Assist in the maintenance and configuration of Windows Desktop and Server environments.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online and SharePoint.
• Implement and monitor Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and user experience.
• Potential for career advancement into more technical roles as skillset develops.
