Remote Boomi Integration Platform Developer

Salary: £38,500 - 66,500 per year

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience working with enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application and data integration patterns including JMS, SOAP/REST web services, and databases.
• Practical experience implementing service-oriented architecture design and enabling technologies including messaging, XML, JSON, web services, and HTTP.
• Advanced knowledge of common business systems such as CRM, SFA, and ERP, and business processes such as lead-to-cash, requisitions, and order management.
• General knowledge of key application infrastructure components such as VMware, storage (NAS, SAN, SMB), Java JVM, networking, firewalls, load balancing, and proxies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience working with AI is beneficial, including customer conversations about possibilities, building agents, and understanding security and data limitations.
• Database skills including SQL, data modelling, and databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle are desirable.
• Development scripting skills with Java, Groovy, and JavaScript are desirable.
• 1+ year of experience using the Boomi platform is advantageous.
• Experience working in a professional services consulting business or directly with customers is desirable.
• Experience providing coaching and support to junior team members is desirable.
• Additional language capabilities beyond English are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work remotely with clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to support Boomi platform implementation.
• Travel up to 20% of working time may be required.
• Work closely with Project Managers to design and develop integration solutions.
• Evaluate customer applications to assess the best integration approach.
• Act as a product expert in Boomi applications, including the AtomSphere integration platform, while learning other parts of the Boomi platform.
• Recommend best practices for implementing, managing, and governing integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere integration platform.
• Define and promote adoption of best practices for Boomi products across internal and external user communities.
• Provide support and coaching to junior team members.
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements, assist with project scoping, and build innovative solutions to business problems.
• Continue developing skills as a developer and consultant while contributing to Boomis growth and innovation.
