IT Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Previous experience working within an IT support, service desk, or technical coordination environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
• Ability to communicate technical information in clear, non-technical language

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the support desk, ensuring tickets are prioritised, assigned, and resolved efficiently
• Monitor service levels and act as an escalation point for issues at risk of breaching agreed response times
• Take ownership of critical incidents and drive resolutions through to completion
• Schedule engineer rotas and coordinate planned and reactive client site visits
• Maintain accurate ticketing, time recording, and service documentation within internal systems
• Support the continuous improvement of service processes and operational procedures
• Provide remote technical support to clients as required
• Build and develop technical knowledge across networking, operating systems, and cloud technologies
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high standard of customer service and support delivery
