SAP ECC/S4 HANA FICO Functional Lead

Salary: £33,000 - 41,000 per year

Requirements

• We require a masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• We require 8+ years of SAP FICO experience across ECC and S/4HANA.
• We require deep techno-functional expertise in at least 2–3 finance sub-functions such as Intercompany, RAR, or FA.
• We prefer SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance, Group Reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• We prefer hands-on experience with SAP FICO, S/4HANA, SAP Group Reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• We prefer experience upgrading from Oracle EPM Suite to SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and SAC.
• We require a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
• We require demonstrated experience leading global implementations and multi-geo teams from a finance perspective.
• We require deep functional and technical experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA FICO modules.
• We prefer proven working experience in Group Reporting and transitioning from a legacy system to SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• We prefer in-depth knowledge of Group Reporting consolidation processes, including legal and management consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, data models, Data Monitor, Consolidation Monitor, and ownership tasks.
• We require strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• We prefer experience with third-party integrations.
• We prefer familiarity with SAP security, WRICEF development, and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• We lead end-to-end design, detailed configuration, to-be process flows, and implementation of complex SAP ECC FICO and S/4HANA Finance programs.
• We translate broad business strategies, programs, and projects into structured SAP business process flows.
• We serve as the functional/technical lead and Finance business process lead for finance-related SAP initiatives.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prototype solution designs for seamless integration across finance priorities and modules including FI, CO, MM, SD, and PS.
• We liaise with IT to represent Finance stakeholders and compliance requirements across Finance Operations, Tax, Global Trade, Financial Reporting & Consolidation, and FP&A.
• We drive data migration, cutover planning, and system testing for ECC to S/4 transitions.
• We solve complex system and process design issues while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
• We mentor junior teammates and lead project teams through delivery and the project lifecycle.
• We engage with senior stakeholders to align priorities and build SAP solutions that support business objectives, strategies, and KPIs.
• We lead Group Reporting initiatives and support the transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA Group Reporting when required.
• We develop and implement strategies for Finance Transformation and lead Group Reporting integration with S/4HANA, Universal Journal, SAP Fiori Apps, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
