Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a technically strong Pre-Sales Solutions Architect with proven experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Architect, or client-facing technical role.
• We need someone with experience in private cloud infrastructure such as Nutanix, VMware, Proxmox, or OpenStack.
• We require knowledge of public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• We expect solid networking expertise across LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
• We need an understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.
• We are looking for strong communication and stakeholder management skills, along with commercial awareness.
• Cloud or architecture certifications would be a bonus.
• We require candidates to hold SC and NPPV3 security clearance, or to be eligible and willing to undergo vetting.
• We are open to candidates who can work remotely within the UK and travel regularly for customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• We partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and understand customer requirements.
• We design end-to-end solutions across cloud, private cloud, networking, and infrastructure.
• We lead technical workshops, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
• We produce Statements of Work, proposals, and technical documentation.
• We ensure our solutions meet relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
• We contribute to service design, pricing, and risk assessment.
• We act as the bridge between Sales and Engineering to support a smooth handover into delivery.
• We work with customers, sales teams, and technical teams to position secure, compliant solutions for regulated sectors.
