Salary: £60,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements

  • Previous experience in leading and managing a successful Microsoft Data team.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Data and Analytics technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Purview, and Power BI.
  • Experience in implementing robust data models using Power BI, DAX, and undertaking transformations using Azure Data Factory/Dataflow Gen 2.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage, and robust data access with Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience in architecting and designing secure and compelling data solutions using Microsoft ecosystem toolsets.
  • Programming skills including Python, PySpark, and T-SQL.
  • Strong track record in business development, proposition shaping, and securing work.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing multidisciplinary technology teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and explain complex data concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Microsoft Portfolio Manager to shape and mature Microsoft propositions and frameworks.
  • Contribute to shaping the future direction of the Microsoft Data and Analytics Practice.
  • Collaborate with the Head of the Microsoft Practice and Sales colleagues to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of go-to-market offerings and repeatable services across the Microsoft application stack.
  • Support bid activity with strategic direction, technical authorship, and customer engagement.
  • Lead and mentor architects, developers, and testers in Microsoft Data technologies.
  • Assist in talent acquisition, retention, and community-of-practice development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
  • Oversee and assure solutions being delivered to clients, ensuring sound commercial documents and cost models are developed.
  • Advocate for secure and ethical AI in technical approaches, establishing standards, best practices, and governance techniques.
