[Remote] Senior AWS Engineer (Graph / Cloud) w/ Top Secret Clearance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is expanding its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and is seeking Software Engineers with experience in graph technologies to join their Professional Services team.

This role focuses on building and supporting data-driven, cloud-native applications leveraging graph databases to handle complex data relationships in mission-focused environments.

Responsibilities Design and develop applications leveraging graph databases (AWS Neptune, Neo4j, or similar)Model complex data relationships and optimize graph queries for performance and scalabilityBuild and integrate APIs and services that interact with graph-based data storesDeploy and manage graph workloads in AWS environmentsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable technical solutionsSupport data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sourcesContribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processesTroubleshoot performance and data-related issues across environmentsParticipate in Agile development cycles, code reviews, and technical discussions Skills U.S.

CitizenshipActive Top Secret clearance or currently in processExperience developing applications using graph databases (AWS Neptune, Neo4j, or similar)Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM)Familiarity with graph query languages (Gremlin, SPARQL, Cypher, or similar)Understanding of data modeling and working with complex datasetsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsExperience supporting federal or defense customersFamiliarity with AWS Neptune in production environmentsExperience with data pipelines and ingestion frameworksExposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as CodeExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer)Background working across multiple projects or in a consulting environment Company Overview Strategic Business Systems is an information technology company that offers cloud computing and data centre infrastructure solutions.
