ICT Support Engineer

Salary: £27,000 - 56,000 per year

Requirements

• Previous ICT or IT support experience within schools, academies or education environments
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport is essential
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Windows environments
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Experience supporting hardware, software and network issues
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Desirable: VMware or Hyper-V exposure
• Desirable: Intune or MDM experience
• Desirable: networking or firewall experience
• Desirable: experience within an MSP environment

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line ICT support to schools and education sites
• Support staff and students with day-to-day IT issues
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Windows environments
• Maintain laptops, desktops, printers and classroom technology
• Support network and wireless infrastructure
• Assist with device deployments and IT projects
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Liaise with third-party suppliers when required
