Cyber Vulnerability Engineer

Salary: £46,000 - 86,000 per year

Requirements

• We need a strong background in vulnerability management and VAPT.
• We need experience across cloud and on-prem environments, including Azure, AWS, Windows, and Linux.
• We need hands-on experience with vulnerability tooling such as Nessus, Tenable, Defender for Cloud, and AWS Security Hub.
• We need experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• We need the ability to work with stakeholders and drive remediation through to completion.
• We need SC clearance eligibility, which is essential.

Responsibilities

• We own vulnerability remediation across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments.
• We work closely with engineering teams to fix issues, not just report them.
• We use tools such as Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Hub, and Nessus/Tenable to identify and track vulnerabilities.
• We drive secure configurations and improve overall security posture.
• We use Terraform for resource management and lifecycle activities.
• We take responsibility for the full vulnerability lifecycle from identification through verified remediation and closure.

We are a cyber-focused organisation offering a fully remote role for a Cyber Vulnerability Engineer with a salary of £40-50k DOE, a competitive package, up to 31 days annual leave, and expenses paid. We are looking for someone who wants to move further into hands-on cyber work and away from purely infrastructure-focused work.
