Senior Data Platform Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Python and SQL.
• We need expert-level experience with Azure-based platform technologies, including Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Terraform.
• We require experience working with SQL Data Build Tool (dbt).
• We need experience with Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and related Azure tooling.
• Experience with GA4, HubSpot, or similar platforms would be an advantage.
• We are looking for someone who can operate at a senior level, guide technical direction, and improve engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• We will have you build and support enterprise-level data pipelines using modern technologies.
• You will help improve our data platform through Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• You will contribute to deployments and help raise our engineering standards.
• You will work closely with our data engineering team to support our in-house SaaS product and client-facing transformations.
• You will use your experience to influence technical direction and drive platform improvements.
• You will balance quality and delivery while working within a well-structured process that avoids burnout and supports sustainable output.
