Requirements

• We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Security Engineer.
• We need someone with experience designing and implementing application security capability.
• We need someone able to work closely with developers, DevOps engineers and technology stakeholders.
• We need someone who can understand existing development practices and introduce practical security controls.
• We need someone who can deploy application security tooling.
• We need someone who can establish processes for identifying, prioritising and remediating vulnerabilities across applications, source code and cloud-native workloads.
• We need someone who can embed security into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• We need someone who can improve visibility of application risks.
• We need someone who can ensure vulnerabilities are managed in accordance with organisational Vulnerability Management policies.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for an Application Security role based remotely on a 6-month contract, outside IR35, at a rate of £500 to £600 per day. We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Security Engineer to help us strengthen application security, support secure software delivery, and work collaboratively with our development and DevOps teams. Our focus is on embedding security into the SDLC, improving application risk visibility, and managing vulnerabilities effectively across applications, source code and cloud-native workloads.
