DevOps Engineer

Salary: £15,000 - 20,000 per year

Requirements

• SC and NPPV3 Security Clearance
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud platforms
• In-depth expertise in AWS Services: EC2, RDS, Aurora PG, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and Amazon Linux 2023
• Proficient in DevOps Tools: Terraform, Jenkins, Docker and Groovy pipelines
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Java
• PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, HA, replication, backup/DR
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
• Familiarity with monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, and Alert Manager
• Linux Sys Admin experience (advantageous)
• Knowledge of AD, networking, Firewalls, switch config/patching (advantageous)
• AWS/Azure Certifications (advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and deliver highly available, secure, and scalable AWS Cloud environments
• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis for 24/7 production
• Manage technical escalations effectively
• Lead workshops to support Agile teams
• Remove delivery blockers to enhance team productivity
