Cyber Security Consultant

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Background in cyber security consultancy, infrastructure security, or security architecture
• Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, governance, and risk
• Experience with technologies such as PAM, SSO, IDAM, encryption, or network security
• Knowledge of cloud security and/or enterprise infrastructure environments
• Experience advising stakeholders on security risks and mitigation strategies
• Understanding of standards such as ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, or PCI-DSS
• Ability to work across technical and business teams within complex programmes
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, or equivalent are advantageous
• Current SC clearance or eligibility to obtain security clearance is preferred
• Sole British nationality is required due to security clearance eligibility criteria

Responsibilities

• Support a growing portfolio of projects across healthcare, defence, government, and critical national infrastructure environments
• Deliver advisory, architecture, and security design input within large-scale digital transformation initiatives
• Advise stakeholders on security risks and practical mitigation strategies
• Work across technical and business teams to shape secure solutions within complex programmes
• Apply cyber security frameworks, governance, and risk principles to public sector security programmes
• Contribute to security design across cloud security and enterprise infrastructure environments
• Use leading cyber security tools, technologies, and industry expertise to support project delivery
