Lead Software Engineer

Salary: £31,000 - 67,000 per year

Requirements

• We are considering candidates who live in the UK, with an expectation to visit the London office when required.
• Strong product focus with the ability to define and champion medium- to long-term system architecture and technical roadmaps.
• Full-stack engineering expertise with cloud-based systems.
• Experience with practices such as TDD and CI/CD.
• Coaching experience and a collaborative approach to building excellent software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders.
• A previous role using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, C#, MongoDB and/or AWS would be an asset.
• Experience with adjacent languages, frameworks and services used at scale is also relevant.
• IMU and GPS data processing experience is a plus.

• Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.
• Mentor and level up engineers through guidance and collaboration.
• Set the bar for engineering excellence.
• Create cross-group initiatives and proactively communicate needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive group environment.
