Remote Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Azure)

Salary: £32,000 - 59,000 per year

Requirements

• We are seeking an experienced or more senior DevOps Engineer.
• Proven experience working in a DevOps role.
• Experience working within the video games industry.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies, including AWS or Azure.
• Experience containerising applications and maintaining containerised infrastructure such as ECS, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with version control systems such as Perforce and Git.
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and incident response technologies.
• Experience with Pulumi and Microsoft PlayFab is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure in a LiveOps environment.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable cloud architecture.
• Implement, maintain, and improve cloud testing and automation tools.
• Support the identification and deployment of cybersecurity measures.
• Assist with incident management and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with code and build teams to ensure a streamlined workflow.
• Work as part of a growing team to continuously improve DevOps practices and processes.
• Contribute to designing and maintaining our infrastructure.
• Implement automation frameworks.
• Establish robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize performance and security measures.
• Support our game development workflows to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
