Requirements

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, specifically Informatica IICS
• Strong experience with SQL Server, including SSMS and stored procedures
• Experience with SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA)
• Advanced SQL skills, including query writing and optimisation
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Experience using GitHub for version control
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience using Alteryx for data preparation and automation
• Experience with data visualisation, dashboarding, and reporting tools
• Experience with workflow automation and scheduling tools and platforms
• Ability to document processes clearly and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive mindset and passion for solving complex data challenges
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team success

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines that support business intelligence and analytics
• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable, SQL-driven workflows
• Build and maintain efficient ETL pipelines for data transformation and integration
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions
• Design and implement structured data models and marts for specific business functions
• Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, and performance
• Support automation and scheduling of data workflows to streamline operations

This is a temporary contract role estimated to run for 6 months with the potential to be extended. The role is mainly remote, with an occasional visit to our Manchester office required.
