Trainee Oracle Cloud Consultant

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; alternatively, demonstrable technical aptitude through projects, apprenticeships, bootcamps, or self-study
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language such as SQL, Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A willingness to learn Oracle Cloud technologies and work towards Oracle certifications
• Right to work in the UK and eligibility to obtain security clearance where required
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain the required security clearance, which typically requires a minimum of three consecutive years of UK residency immediately prior to the date of application

Responsibilities

• Support live client projects under supervision and progressively develop the skills and confidence to deliver independently
• Develop a strong foundation in Oracle Fusion Cloud fundamentals across ERP and HCM
• Learn technical documentation and project delivery standards
• Work within delivery teams on real client programmes
• Apply data security, governance, and quality best practices
• Use version control with Git
• If in the Data Migration & Reporting stream, load and validate data in Oracle Fusion using FBDI and HDL
• If in the Data Migration & Reporting stream, build reports and dashboards using BI Publisher and OTBI
• If in the Data Migration & Reporting stream, extract and analyse data using BICC
• If in the Data Migration & Reporting stream, write SQL queries to validate and reconcile datasets
• If in the Data Migration & Reporting stream, ensure data quality, accuracy, and auditability across environments
• If in the Integrations & Extensions stream, build integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud
• If in the Integrations & Extensions stream, consume and configure REST and SOAP APIs
• If in the Integrations & Extensions stream, develop simple user interfaces using Visual Builder
• If in the Integrations & Extensions stream, create backend solutions using Oracle APEX and PL/SQL
