Software Project Manager

Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience delivering customer-facing software projects within a Microsoft Partner, consultancy, or professional services environment.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects simultaneously.
• Strong experience delivering software projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of project governance, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience managing project commercials, including Time & Materials (T&M) engagements.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to confidently lead projects with minimal supervision and delegated authority.
• Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach.
• Highly desirable: experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) projects.
• Highly desirable: experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
• Highly desirable: Microsoft Partner experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent software implementation projects of varying size and complexity.
• Deliver projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Build strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact throughout delivery.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Monitor project financials, ensuring commercial performance and profitability.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and project reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality standards while exceeding customer expectations.
• Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and best practices.
