Requirements

• We need a strong enterprise architecture background with deep cyber security architecture expertise.

• We need experience across hybrid estates, including cloud and on-premise environments.

• We need familiarity with AWS and/or Azure alongside significant on-premise estates.

Responsibilities

• We own and evolve enterprise cyber security architecture strategy, standards, and patterns.
• We act as a technical design authority, influencing major decisions, investment cases, and long-term roadmaps.
• We define pragmatic security guardrails that support delivery at pace.
• We lead threat modelling, resilience, and risk-based design at enterprise scale.
• We mature Zero Trust, Secure by Design, and cloud security capabilities.
• We partner with senior technology and business stakeholders to align security with organisational priorities.
• We anticipate emerging threats and regulatory change, translating them into actionable architectural direction.
• We provide architectural leadership across internal teams and suppliers.
• We shape cyber security at enterprise scale without direct line management, while carrying significant enterprise-wide influence.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in London or Bristol with a 60% office and 40% remote working pattern across the month, and we support flexible working. We offer a salary of £80,000 to £100,000 and a market-leading 29% employer pension contribution.
