Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus.
• We need strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and JavaScript.
• We expect experience with AWS and infrastructure as code, such as CloudFormation or similar tools.
• We look for experience with ECS/Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis/ElastiCache, and load balancers such as ALB/NLB.
• We value a strong understanding of HTTP and networking concepts.
• We expect knowledge of caching strategies, Linux environments, and Git workflows including rebasing, merge strategies, and branching.
• We need experience with testing, debugging, performance optimisation, and scalability.
• We value strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug independently.
• We look for candidates who enjoy working end to end across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• We prefer team players with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, serverless development, and high-traffic applications would be a plus.
• We are especially interested in engineers who are eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• We maintain and enhance existing production applications.
• We contribute to the design and development of a new platform.
• We build and support scalable backend services and APIs.
• We investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the full stack.
• We collaborate closely with teammates, including paired programming.
• We improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• We support infrastructure and deployment processes within AWS.
• We take ownership of tasks and proactively identify areas for improvement.
