Lead Ecommerce Product Designer

Salary: £65,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft and clarity of thinking
• Proven ability to design ecommerce experiences that convert
• Strong point of view on what makes great product design
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity, autonomy and accountability
• Able to move seamlessly between strategy, UX and UI execution
• Deep expertise in Figma – systems, prototyping, and detail
• Experience in a high performing product or ecommerce agency
• Background in a brand where design is held to a high standard of craft and impact
• Exposure to environments where quality, pace and outcomes all matter

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of high value ecommerce journeys
• Designing best in class product detail pages (PDPs)
• Designing category/listing experiences (PLPs)
• Creating checkout and conversion flows
• Applying rigorous thinking to simplify complex problems and improve outcomes
• Creating pixel perfect, high fidelity UI and scalable systems in Figma
• Leading conceptual thinking and pitch work, shaping ideas at the earliest stage
• Partnering closely with engineering to ensure design integrity in build
• Driving continuous optimisation through insight, experimentation and iteration
