Director of Information Security

Salary: £120,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements

• Suitable amount of years experience in information security, including leadership roles
• Strong track record in SaaS or similarly regulated environments from high-tech end user organisations
• Deep expertise across security architecture, operations, and risk management
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercial awareness, including budget ownership and planning
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or AWS Security are highly valued
• Desirable:
• Experience working with standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, IRAP, GDPR, or NIST

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve global information security strategy
• Ensure security integration in product development and operations
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of analysts and engineers
• Lead incident response and strengthen threat detection capabilities
• Champion security by design and privacy by design principles
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations
• Communicate security posture and drive continuous improvement to customers
