Requirements
- Experience working with vendor managers, technical teams, or internal stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements
- Ability to support financial planning, forecasting, and budget management for services or projects
- Experience coordinating communications across multiple business units or affiliates
- Understanding of service operations, network environments, or transformation programmes is useful
- Experience maintaining controls, processes, trackers, or reporting in a regulated environment is useful
- Experience with vendor performance, SLAs, OLAs, licence inventory, or operational optimisation is useful
- Full training will be provided; financial accountancy or deep technical experience is not required
Responsibilities
- Support our Global Network functions by helping deliver a high-quality service to end users
- Capture run and project costs for the network and help create financial plans for our global service and systems
- Work with our vendor manager to gather requirements from technical teams and communicate them to business units for forecasting and payments
- Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying opportunities to standardise vendors and consolidate contracts
- Act as an internal stakeholder-facing contact, helping integrate different business units into our service and ensure vendor requirements are met
- Set up communications with 28 affiliates and support their financial forecasting and questions
- Partner with Network Service Operations and Engineering on planning and provide feedback on vendor solutions
- Support the setup and delivery of new projects with internal customers and vital processes
- Manage internal vendor-commercial operations for existing and new MR companies
- Coordinate emerging requirements for new products and services
- Collect project and operational requirement details and right-size purchases where appropriate
- Maintain vendor key performance indicators and support service improvements
- Manage onboarding readiness for 28 affiliates, including trackers, risks, milestones, and readiness reports
- Support licence inventory, usage, capacity, transfers, and optimisation opportunities
- Maintain communication for product renewals and prepare information packs for internal customers
- Gather requirements from architecture, engineering, and operations teams
- Help ensure SLAs and OLAs are in place with internal teams

We are offering an 18-month contract for an IT Service Manager position with 90% remote working and 2-3 days per month on site in London or Manchester. This role supports our networking transformation programme and focuses on building relationships, supporting budget management, and helping evolve our network services across 28 affiliates. It is an internal stakeholder-facing role within our network team, and we provide full training. This is not a financial accountancy or purely technical role, though experience in those areas would be useful.
