Senior Cloud Architect - GCP

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• Extensive experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform
• Experience designing and migrating complex, production-grade cloud deployments
• Strong experience with container technologies such as GKE and Kubernetes
• Programming experience in Python, Java, and SQL is desirable
• Experience working across data, security, and networking in enterprise environments
• Strong customer-facing experience, including pre-sales and post-sales architectural advice
• Ability to provide technical thought leadership on machine learning, analytics, and data migration projects

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale big data cloud architectures
• Own projects end to end from conception to completion
• Work with end-to-end production-grade cloud technologies across data, security, and networking
• Leverage container technologies effectively in projects
• Build scalable, high-performance code using Python, Java, and SQL
• Deliver scalable, robust, high-performing solutions for enterprise clients
• Provide technical pre-sales support and champion innovative, disruptive proposals
• Engage with customers and prospects as a subject matter expert in solution and cloud architecture

You will join a team of experts working at the cutting edge of cloud architecture and next-generation AI products. This is a remote-based role with occasional travel to London, roughly twice a week, for workshops and team events. We offer a package including a base salary of around £100,000 depending on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private health care, and income protection.
