Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end projects, ideally within pharma, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing
• Strong experience working between IT and manufacturing/site operations
• Solid understanding of GxP compliance, validation, and change control
• Experience improving IT delivery or service reliability
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches
• Project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or Scrum is advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to influence without authority
• Strong decision-making under pressure
• Conflict management, prioritisation, and negotiation skills
• Accountable, delivery-focused mindset
• Adaptable in fast-paced operational environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, Power BI, ServiceNow, and Monday.com is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of GxP IT initiatives, ensuring delivery to time, cost, quality, and compliance standards
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across system implementations, upgrades, and service enhancements
• Translate manufacturing priorities into clear delivery plans aligned to business goals
• Lead cross-functional teams and third-party vendors, driving accountability and progress
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
• Ensure full GxP compliance including validation, documentation, impact assessment, and change control
• Partner with Business System Managers to maintain reliable, compliant IT services
• Support release, upgrade, and change planning to minimise disruption
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and service reliability

We are seeking an experienced GxP IT Project Manager to join our IT function in Hertfordshire, working in a hybrid model with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. This is a hands-on opportunity within a complex manufacturing environment in a regulated industry, where you will manage a portfolio of 2 to 3 concurrent projects and work across both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches. We offer a salary of £60,000 to £70,000 plus a 15% bonus, and the role provides the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, reliable, and high-impact IT initiatives.
