Requirements

• Strong REXX development experience
• Hands-on experience with OPS/MVS and BMC AMI Ops Automation
• Proven automation conversion or migration experience
• Strong understanding of mainframe environments
• Experience working with Rules and EXECs
• Broad mainframe automation expertise is desirable
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments is desirable

• Convert OPS/MVS Rules and EXECs into BMC AMI Ops Automation
• Review and optimise existing automation processes
• Develop and maintain REXX-based automation solutions
• Support the migration of critical operational workloads
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure a successful transition

We are supporting a longstanding client on a major automation migration programme for a Mainframe Automation Consultant. This is a remote contract role for three to six months, outside IR35, with a rate of circa £600 per day. The successful person will join a highly specialised programme where deep mainframe automation expertise, strong REXX development skills, and experience with BMC AMI Ops Automation will be central to the projects success.
