Requirements
- We are looking for an experienced infrastructure professional with a proven track record of delivering and supporting enterprise-grade environments.
- We require at least 3 years experience in an infrastructure engineering or senior support role within a multi-site or multi-venue environment.
- We need hands-on experience across networking, including routing, switching and Wi-Fi.
- We require experience with server virtualisation and Microsoft cloud platforms.
- We need a solid understanding of network security principles, firewall management and patch management disciplines.
- We require experience supporting infrastructure during live events or in operationally demanding, high-pressure environments.
- We need strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in owning supplier relationships and escalations.
- We require a clear communicator who can translate complex technical issues for non-technical operational teams.
- We are looking for a self-starter who can plan and deliver infrastructure projects with minimal oversight.
- We require candidates to be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- We design, deploy and maintain on-premises and hybrid cloud infrastructure across our venues in the UK and Europe, including network, server, storage and virtualisation layers.
- We provide escalation support for infrastructure incidents, diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently with full ticket tracking through our IT service management platform.
- We lead infrastructure workstreams for venue openings and technology refresh projects, including planning, vendor coordination and end-to-end delivery.
- We carry out proactive capacity planning, health monitoring and preventative maintenance across our venue infrastructure environments.
- We act as the subject matter expert for infrastructure technologies, producing clear runbooks, SOPs and technical documentation for our operational and support teams.
- We collaborate with our Retail and Hospitality Technology teams to identify and resolve site-based connectivity, integration or platform dependency issues that affect event-day operations.
- We manage relationships with vendors, ISPs and third-party partners to deliver timely issue resolution and infrastructure improvements.
- We identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities across reliability, performance, security posture and operational efficiency.
- We provide on-site technical presence at venues during major events, go-lives and infrastructure deployments where remote support is insufficient.
