Technical Project Manager

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex network or infrastructure transformation programmes
• Strong working knowledge of Cisco enterprise networking technologies, including Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
• Understanding of datacentre and platform migrations, including virtualisation and storage technologies
• Experience working alongside internal infrastructure teams and third-party Cisco engineering partners
• Ability to manage technically complex migrations and cutover activity within live environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitation of technical planning and readiness sessions
• Comfortable operating independently in a consultancy role, focused on delivery outcomes rather than resource augmentation

Responsibilities

• Provide structured project management and continuity during the final stages of a network transformation programme
• Coordinate delivery across Cisco SDA campus networking and Cisco ACI datacentre workstreams
• Work closely with internal infrastructure teams and specialist Cisco partners to plan, sequence, and execute migration activity
• Oversee campus network and Wi-Fi cutovers into software-defined network environments
• Manage dependencies, milestones, risks, and issues across multiple parallel technical streams
• Support governance reporting and financial tracking aligned to agreed approval and control processes
• Coordinate migration schedules, technical readiness activities, and stakeholder communications
• Support the transition from programme delivery into business-as-usual operational support
