Salary: £18,200 - 20,800 per year

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance.
• Proven experience as a VCF/Aria Architect or in a similar architecture role.
• Demonstrable experience leading design and requirements-gathering workshops across both customers and key suppliers.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX, SRM, and Aria.
• Strong automation experience, including API usage and platform-to-platform mapping.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualisation concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and translate complex technical solutions into clear, business-focused outcomes.
• Experience delivering large-scale cloud migration or transformation projects.
• Familiarity with additional VMware products and solutions.
• Proven delivery experience within secure or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and deliver VCF-based infrastructure solutions in secure environments.
• Provide hands-on expertise across VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF v3-v9), NSX, SRM, and Aria.
• Lead and contribute to automation initiatives, including mapping VCD to VCF 9.1 (including pre-release versions) and API-driven integrations and workflow automation.
• Lead and facilitate structured design and requirements-gathering workshops with the customer and key third-party suppliers, ensuring alignment on business objectives.
• Produce and own high-quality design documentation and deployment workbooks.
